MASTERS is my husband's family name. His family is mostly from Oklahoma; before that, Tennessee, Indiana, and maybe Missouri. Their family names include MASTERS and MARSHALL, CLARK, JOHNSON, ZIMMERMAN, and - on the JOHNSON side - ALLISON, COVEY, ELSON, ENDICOTT, DeWITT, GANN, GIDDINGS, GOODMAN, HINSHAW, MARKLEY, MOPPIN, PEACHER, RUPE, RYBURN, THOMAS, THOMPSON, TOLIVER, WHITE, WHITSELL.

Do you recognize these people? They're mysterious Winograd relatives...
My grandma's traveling papers from when she was a little girl in Poland,
transliterated
from this xerox
(originally handwritten in Polish).
I've been able to translate most of it,
but would appreciate help with the middle line, where the paper was
originally folded.
For more info, I've made pages for each group on my side of the family (see top of page for my husband's family's pages):
I have also posted my data
Go to the full list of names in my tree. It has names and dates, but no commentary or notes (or new babies - hmmm...). The GED and resulting HTML files were last updated Monday 3/08/99. My husband's relatives, except for very close ones (through first cousins) are not included in this listing - I'm in the process of making a separate database for his side of the family.
