Tues, 28 Jun 2005 early AM... addition of "Zloczow" (Zlutchif) section that should have been included last year previously updated Mon, 28 Jun 2004 18:52:44 -0400 While searching for some family members from Bialy Kamien, I discovered an assortment of spelling "variants" in the Ellis Island database for that town and for Bialystok, and later for Przemysl or Premyslany or a similar-sounding location. Hoping these may help someone else find their "missing" family members. In no way do I claim that these are all the unusual variants in the database for these towns ;-> Disclaimer: I know nothing else about these towns/people. Even better, an option to "eliminate standard/WOWW spellings" that omits anything on a list of normalized spellings for major towns/cities (Lemberg, Lvov, Minsk, Przemysl, Pchemychl, etc.)...
