Full Bomze/Bomser descendancy is here.

My mom's side:

Mom's parents are Ruth Farber and Mel Wolfsont.
They were born in 1918 and 1920, here in the states (NY).

Mel's parents were Fannie Bomze and Morris Wolfshaut. I've found out that BOMZE was originally BOMSER.
Fannie was from Zlutchif, Austria (later Zloczow, in southeast Poland; now Zolochev, Ukraine). -- see AJGS Cemetery P roject/Ukraine for cemetery info --
She was born in or around 1887 and died in 1959. Morris was born around 1886 and died in 1958.

Mel has a brother named Abraham (now Allen) and sisters named Mary, Anne, and Ethel.
Allen married a woman named Sophia. They have no children.
Mary married a man named Abraham ("Boomey") Greenhill. Their daughter is Jane.
Anne married a man named Harry Baumann. Their children are Elinor (Ellie) and Holly.
Ethel married Irving Hirsch. Their children are Lois and David.

Mel's mother Fannie had sisters named Bela (Bella) and Charche (Ida) and a brother named Herman.
Herman was a butter and egg salesman. He was born around 1874 and died sometime after 1906. I don't know his wife's name, but they had children named Helen, Stella, Henry, and Marjorie.
Bela/Bella married a man named Stempler. His first name may have been Leonard. They had children named Charles, Henrietta, and Emanuel, and - we think - a fourth child.
Charche/Ida married a man named Epstein. I don't know his first name, but he was a tailor. They had children named Rebecca, Molly, Rudolph or Isidore, and Michael.

Fannie Bomze's father was called Mark Bomze. He died before 1945.

I've come across several other people on the Net named Bomze, and some are related. They're descendants of my great-grandparents' also (some I'd known about; some I hadn't). I haven't found another branch of the family yet.
